Why Repeat Eat is a one-time purchase

I wanted to make a tool you buy once and keep using, not another service with a recurring fee.

One of the reasons I built Repeat Eat was simple frustration with subscriptions. A personal food journal does not need to become a permanent monthly bill just to keep showing you the meals you recorded.

Repeat Eat is an affordable one-time purchase. There are no ads and no account to create.

Your journal stays on your device

Meals, photos, goals, and settings are stored locally. Repeat Eat does not run a server for your food journal, and basic use does not depend on a particular AI provider.

If you choose to use AI, you decide when to share a photo or instruction with the service you prefer. You review the suggested meal before saving it.

Your data should remain portable

You can export your journal, including entries, photos, reusable meals, goals, and settings, as a portable JSON file and import it on another device. The point is not the file format itself. The point is that your records remain yours.

A small app still has to be discovered

Being available on the App Store does not mean that people will automatically find the app. Discovery often costs money, especially for a small independent product without a large audience behind it.

If Repeat Eat were completely free, paying to introduce it to new users would quickly become unsustainable. A one-time purchase helps support both continued development and the cost of helping people discover the app, without subscriptions, advertising inside the app, or selling user data.

Buy it once, keep your journal locally, and export it whenever you want.
